I graduated in Political Science in Italy and later earned a degree in Psychology in England at London Metropolitan University, completing my academic training with an internship at Holloway Women’s Prison under the supervision of Edward Bloomfield, a clinical psychologist and expert in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (developed by Ryle and Kerr). During this period, I also attended a semester-long seminar on child psychotherapy and another on sexual therapy at Birkbeck College, University of London, two intensive workshops on cognitive therapy with Christine Padesky, and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Hypnosis with Brian Jacobs.

Upon returning to Italy, I completed an intensive course in structural-integrated hypnosis with Giovanni Ariano (President of the Italian Society of Integrated Psychotherapy), a method focused on the analysis and integration of non-verbal and emotional language.

Since 2009, I have also deepened my knowledge of the psychoanalytic approach by attending thematic seminars with Freudian and Lacanian orientations. I have personal experience as a patient in orthodox Freudian psychoanalytic psychotherapy with Macario Principe (Italian Psychoanalytic Society) and Fulvio Marone (ICLES), as well as in structural-integrated psychotherapy with Tonia Bonacci (Trainer at the Italian Society of Integrated Psychotherapy).

Professionally, I have worked as a court expert in cases of suspected psychological and sexual abuse of minors. My work included assessing the reliability of children’s statements (ages 5–15) through semi-structured interviews, the use of standardized psychological tests administered in double-blind conditions, and the observation of non-verbal communication. I have also published two protocols for forensic evaluations involving minors for the Italian Institute of Trauma Studies, and my books are available through IBS.

In addition, I have extensive experience in professional training, supporting the development of entrepreneurial talent and training employees of medium and large companies in communication strategies for managing group dynamics and in effective communication methods with clients.

I specialize in aviation-sector training, having completed specific courses at an IATA-UFTAA accredited center. I provide training at major Italian airports for passenger area operators, focusing on communication with “unruly” clients—characterized by impulsivity and low frustration tolerance—and on workplace aggression prevention and work-related stress management.

I also work as a corporate consultant in change management, training and supervising management teams to improve the operational efficiency of business units, particularly where employees interact directly with customers or where significant conflicts or disengagement from the company’s mission are present.

Through state-funded projects, I have trained personnel from the State Police, Penitentiary Police, Guardia di Finanza, as well as nurses and doctors in the National Health Service, union representatives, temporary agency workers, and teachers and students at all school levels, focusing on conflict management and work-related stress prevention.
